Easy snack mix recipe

What’s your favorite part of a snack mix? Mine is the cereal. This is a super easy dump and (almost) go snack mix that crisps up right in the crockpot. Sure you can buy a snack mix at the store, but doing it this way, you get to pick the snacks you want and can control the amount of seasoning that’s in it.

How to make the easy snack mix

This easy snack mix is totally customizable, but here’s what I used in mine. You can also adjust the amount of each snack you put in there, but I would stick to the measurements as much as possible so it all fits in the crock pot.

Step 1 Pretzel - www.spousesproutsme.com

Pour about 1 to 1 1/2 cups of 3 to 4 different crackers and/or nuts into a crockpot.

Next you’ll need to get the dressing together to pour over everything. The dressing is a mix of melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and ranch dressing mix.

Step 6 Dressing mix - www.spousesproutsme.com

After that, you’re going to gently mix all the ingredients together so that the snack mix is evenly coated.

Step 7 mixing - www.spousesproutsme.com

Set the crockpot for 2 1/2 to 3 hours on low and make sure to come back every half hour to one hour to gently mix the ingredients again. This is so that everything has a chance to crisp up and not burn at the bottom of the crockpot. If you don’t have a crockpot or the mix starts to burn at the bottom, you can lay everything out on a baking pan and finish it in the over at 325°F. You’ll need to pay attention to this a bit more because it will go fast.
