Date night on the Hornblower in San Diego

Date Night - Hornblower Cruises - www.spousesproutsme.com

Hi there! Jenny, here. Any of you find it hard to get out and have a date night? It definitely is for us. We tried to do a neighbor swap with our kids so it’d be more cost effective, but nothing ever really came of it. So, it’s still a work in progress. It’s not easy having date nights when you’re paying $40+ right off the bat for a night out. And that doesn’t even include dinner or gas! We got lucky with our recent date night because my sister was actually available to watch the kids, and the kids loved it. Carter even got to get one of his videos he loves to make in.

Which brings me to the point of this whole post. Tyler and I recently went on a date night and attended the Sights and Sips tour, which is one of the seasonal cruises provided by Hornblower Cruises and Events. It’s a good mix between their Harbor Tour, and their Dinner Cruise. You get the Harbor Tour, however, you’re greeted with champagne and light hors d’oeuvres, music, and then of course there’s that awesome San Diego sunset to end the trip! Next month, they’re going to start the Mes de Mayo Cocktail Cruises. That’s going to be another fun one we’re going to have to attend!

Have you ever been on a Hornblower cruise? Where did you do it at and what cruise did you do? Let me know in the comments below. Oh and about that video of Carter’s…. check it out below:

Thanks for having us, Hornblower Events and Cruises!
